Who must complete the Annual Renewal?
All Licensees, except those on a medical leave of absence, a retirement leave of absence, or who have the status of being resigned, are not required to complete the Annual Renewal until such time that they return to active status.

How do I calculate my CPD hours for Annual Renewal?
Licensees can access their annual CPD requirements by logging in to their College Portal Dashboard, clicking Ongoing Education and scrolling down to the CPD Terms section.

How do I update my business or employment?
You can update your business or employment details by logging in to the College Portal.
To submit a new business name for review, please log in to the College Portal and fill out the Business Name Selection Form. The form can be accessed by clicking the “Start Business Name Selection Application” button on the Business Name section, under the Professional Information tab.
To add employment, please log in to the College Portal and fill out the Employment Information form. The form can be accessed by clicking the “Add Employment” button on the Employment section, under the Professional Information tab.
How do I provide information about new Agents?
To register an individual as your agent, submit an Agent Registration Application through the Agents section, under the
Professional Information tab of the College Portal. The individual will be added to the Public Register if all requirements in the
Agents Regulation and the
are met.
What does the College do with the information provided by licensees?
The College will select documentation submitted by licensees for audit using a random or risk-based approach from time to time in accordance with policies approved by the Board to determine compliance with the By-laws, the Code of Professional Conduct, and the Regulations and Policies of the College, including all licensing requirements.
The College uses this information to share aggregate statistics on practice with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB).
What if compliance issues are identified?
Licensees will be notified of compliance issues identified through the Annual Renewal process. Any issues must be corrected to the satisfaction of the Registrar within 30 calendar days of the date of the notice.
What happens if a licensee does not correct identified compliance issues?
A licensee is required to submit all missing or requested documentation within 30 calendar days of the date of the request.
Failure to do the following will result in suspension, and potential revocation of licence, in accordance with the By-laws:
- submit required documentation at any stage of the process
- comply with the findings, including but not limited to, completing remedial education and/or resubmitting selected documentation for reassessment within the prescribed deadlines or
- undertake a financial inspection directed by the College within the prescribed deadlines
What is the penalty for submitting the Annual Renewal Form late?
You must complete the Annual Renewal Form through the College Portal between June 1, 2025 at 12:01 am ET and June 30, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET.
If you do not complete the form by the deadline, you will be charged a $100 late fee and may receive a notice of suspension for non-compliance.
Additionally, after June 30, 2025, you will not be eligible to modify your Annual Fee payment preference. If you do not select a payment preference by this date, it will default to your existing payment preference. If an existing payment preference is not on file, it will default to a full annual payment, invoiced on July 1, 2025.
What happens if a licensee does not pay their Annual Fees by the deadline?
On July 1, 2025, your full Annual Fees or your first quarterly payment will be invoiced to you through the College Portal and must be paid by 11:59 pm ET on July 30, 2025.
If you do not pay by the deadline, you will face additional penalties and your licence to practise may be suspended.
